  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • cinnamon - 2 tsp
  • eggs - 4 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • milk - 3 Tbsp
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • brown sugar - 3 Tbsp
  • oil - 3/4 c
  • Duncan Hines yellow butter cake mix - 1 pkg
  • Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition

How to make sock-it-to-me cake:

Mix cake mix, 1/2 cup of sugar, oil and sour cream. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Pour half of batter in a well-greased and floured tube pan.

Mix in a small bowl the brown sugar, cinnamon and nuts. Sprinkle on cake in pan. Add remaining batter and bake at 350° for 45 minutes to an hour. Check for doneness at 45 minutes.Glaze:1 c. powdered sugar3 Tbsp. milk1 tsp. vanilla Mix together. Drizzle on warm cake.
