Skillet spanish rice
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- vegetable oil - 1/4 c
- hot water
- medium onion, thinly sliced - 1 item
- prepared mustard - 1 tsp
- dash of pepper - 1 item
- ground beef - 1/2 lb
- cans tomato sauce - 2 oz
- medium green pepper, chopped - 1/2 item
- regular rice, uncooked - 1 c
How to make skillet spanish rice:
Heat oil in skillet. Add onion, green pepper, beef and rice. Stir until lightly browned. Add sauce, water and remaining ingredients. Bring to a boil, quickly. Cover tightly, reduce heat and simmer for 25 minutes.Recipe categories: < 30 mins, Main dish, Stove top.
