Skillet barbecued pork chops
Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- brown sugar - 2 Tbsp
- oil - 1 tsp
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- dry mustard - 1/2 tsp
- pepper - 1/8 tsp
- can tomato sauce - 1 item
- onion, chopped - 2 Tbsp
- celery, chopped - 1/3 c
- pork chops 1/2-inch thick - 6 item
How to make skillet barbecued pork chops:
Brown chops in oil. Drain excess oil. Put remaining ingredients over chops and cover. Simmer about 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally, until chops are tender. Use the sauce over rice or potatoes. It's delicious! Yields 4 to 6 servings.Recipe categories: Main dish, Pork chop, Pork.
