Ingredients/Components
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- can cream of mushroom soup - 1 oz
- lean ground beef - 1 lb
- finely chopped onions - 1/4 c
- sliced mushrooms
- dry bread crumbs - 1/2 c
How to make simple salisbury steak:
In large bowl, mix 1/4 cup soup, beef, bread crumbs, egg and onions. Shape into 6 firm patties. Cook patties in skillet over medium heat until brown. Remove from skillet; spoon off fat. Stir in remaining soup and mushrooms. Return patties to skillet. Cover and cook on low heat 20 minutes or until done.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Main dish, Beef.
