Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 6 Tbsp
- salt - 1/4 tsp
- oil - 1 Tbsp
- lemon juice - 2 Tbsp
- minced green onion - 1 Tbsp
- minced parsley - 2 Tbsp
- dash of hot sauce - 1 item
- grated lemon peel - 1/4 Tbsp
- raw shrimp, shelled - 3/4 lb
- to 5 cloves minced garlic - 4 item
How to make shrimp scampi:
Pat shrimp dry. Melt butter in skillet. Add oil, lemon juice, garlic and salt. Cook until bubbly. Add shrimp and green onion. Cook until shrimp turns pink, about 5 minutes. Blend in parsley, lemon peel and dash of hot sauce. Serve over rice or pasta.Recipe categories: Main dish, Shellfish, Shrimp.
