Ingredients/Components
- raspberry sherbet
- can frozen strawberries
- 2 liter bottle ginger ale - 1 item
- bottles Asti Spumanti - 2 item
- cans red tropical fruit punch - 2 oz
How to make shower punch:
Mold:1 sq. can frozen strawberries1 1/2 gal. raspberry sherbet Chill all liquids in refrigerator. Leave out sherbet to soften slightly. Drain strawberries, saving liquid. Place strawberries in bottom of a round gelatin mold tin or a nonstick Bundt cake pan. Spoon in sherbet and press evenly with spoon without disturbing strawberries. Place in freezer 1 to 2 hours. Mix liquids including strawberry juice in a large punch bowl.To remove mold, fill sink with 2 to 3 inches of hot water. Put mold in water a few seconds to loosen from sides. Carefully flip onto dinner plate. Immediately and gently slide mold into punch so strawberries are on top.
Nonalcoholic punch: Substitute Spumanti with a 2 liter bottle of raspberry flavored ginger ale.
