Ingredients/Components
- brown sugar
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- boiling water - 3/4 c
- shortening - 1/2 c
- molasses - 1/2 c
- sifted flour - 2 c
How to make shoo-fly pie:
Crumbs:1 c. brown sugar2 c. sifted flour pinch of salt1/2 c. shortening Line pie plate with single pie crust. Dissolve soda in molasses until it foams. Pour filling into pie shell.
