Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- flour - 2 tsp
- brown sugar
- water - 1 c
- baking soda - 1/2 tsp
- margarine - 1/4 c
- cream of tartar - 1/2 tsp
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- unbaked pie crust - 1 item
- corn syrup dark - 1/2 c
How to make shoo-fly pie:
Pie Filling:1 c. brown sugar1/2 c. corn syrup (dark)2 tsp. flour1 c. water1 egg, beaten1 tsp. vanilla Crumb Topping:1 c. flour1/4 c. sugar1/2 tsp. baking soda1/2 tsp. cream of tartar1/4 c. margarine Combine pie filling in saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring and cool. Pour into crust.Make crumb topping. Put on top of pie filling and bake 40 to 45 minutes at 350°.
