Seven minute frosting
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- water - 5 Tbsp
- light corn syrup
- egg whites unbeaten - 2 item
How to make seven minute frosting:
Combine egg whites, sugar, water and corn syrup in top of a double boiler, beating with rotary eggbeater until thoroughly mixed. Place over rapidly boiling water; beat constantly with rotary eggbeater and cook 7 minutes, or until frosting will stand in peaks. Remove from boiling water. Add vanilla; beat until thick enough to spread. Makes enough frosting to cover tops and sides of two 9-inch layers or 2 dozen cupcakes.May be varied by folding in nuts or coconut.
