Ingredients/Components

• Jeremiah 6:20 sugar - 2 c
• Isaiah 10:14 eggs - 3 item
• 1 Samuel 30:12 raisins - 2 c
• 1 Kings 10:10 1 tsp
• 1 Kings 4:22 flour - 4 c
• Psalms 55:21 butter - 1 c
• Leviticus 2:13 salt - 1 tsp
• Genesis 24:17 water - 1 c
• Revelation 11:1 baking soda - 1 tsp
• Matthew 21:44 baking powder - 1 tsp
• Numbers 17:8 nuts - 1 c

How to make scripture cookies:

Boil raisins and water briskly for 5 minutes. Cool and add baking soda. Cream sugar and shortening (butter). Add beaten eggs. Add raisins and liquid. Add dry ingredients and nuts. Drop by rounded teaspoon on baking sheet and bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes. Makes 6 dozen.
