Ingredients/Components
- salt - 1 tsp
- melted margarine - 1/2 c
- light cream - 3/4 c
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/4 tsp
- cracker crumbs - 2 c
- oysters - 1 pt
- oyster liquor - 1/4 c
How to make scalloped oysters:
Drain oysters; save the liquor. Mix crumbs and margarine. Spread 1/3 of crumbs in greased 8 x 1 1/4-inch round pan. Cover with 1/2 of oysters. Sprinkle with pepper and another 1/3 of the crumbs. Add remaining oysters; sprinkle with pepper. Mix cream and oyster liquor with Worcestershire sauce and salt; pour over oysters. Top with last of the crumbs.
