Ingredients/Components
- milk - 6 Tbsp
- salt - 1 item
- melted butter - 1/2 c
- pepper - 1 item
- cracker crumbs
- oysters - 1 pt
How to make scalloped oysters:
Wash oysters in cold water. Add cracker crumbs to melted butter; mix well. Cover the bottom of a baking dish with a thin layer of crumbs. Add a layer of oysters. Season with salt and pepper; add 1/2 the milk. Repeat and cover top with remaining crumbs. Bake in moderate oven for 30 to 45 minutes.Recipe categories: Main dish, Scallops, Casseroles.
