Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- cinnamon - 1/2 tsp
- butter - 1 Tbsp
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- all-purpose flour
- cooking apples, pared and sliced - 4 item
How to make scalloped apples:
Combine sugar, flour and spices; sprinkle over apples. Mix gently. Pour into greased casserole dish. Sprinkle butter over top. Bake at 350° for 50 to 55 minutes. Serve with breakfast or as accompaniment to pork or chicken dishes.Recipe categories: Desserts, Apple, Side dish.
