Ingredients/Components

  • sugar - 1 c
  • pkg - 1 oz
  • flour - 6 Tbsp
  • cold water - 1 c
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • can crushed pineapple - 1 item
  • hot water - 2 c
  • bananas, sliced - 2 item
  • whipped topping - 1 pkg
  • pineapple juice - 2 c
  • lemon jello - 1 pkg
  • orange jello - 1 pkg
  • bag mini marshmallows - 1 item

How to make sawdust salad:

Dissolve jello in hot water. Add cold water and fruit. Pour into 3-quart dish. Cover with marshmallows. Refrigerate and allow to set-up. Mix eggs, flour, sugar and pineapple juice together in pan and cook until thick. Cool.

Spread on first layer. Refrigerate and allow to set-up. Cream the cream cheese and whipped topping together until smooth. Spread on second layer. Sprinkle with grated nuts and cheese, if desired.
