Sunshine salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- flour - 2 Tbsp
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- cold water
- boiling water - 2 c
- miniature marshmallows - 1 pkg
- egg, beaten - 1 item
- large bananas - 2 item
- grated Cheddar cheese - 1 item
- pineapple juice - 1 c
- lemon jello
- 2 can crushed pineapple
- orange jello
- can sliced peaches - 1 item
- jar cherries - 1 item
- tub Cool Whip - 1 item
How to make sunshine salad:
Dissolve jello in boiling water, in serving bowl. Drain pineapple and reserve juice. Add pineapple, bananas, peaches and cold water to jello. Sprinkle with marshmallows. Refrigerate until congealed.Cook egg, flour, pineapple juice, sugar and butter until it comes to a boil. Let cool in refrigerator. Fold Cool Whip into cooled mixture. Spread over congealed salad. Sprinkle with cheese and dot with cherries.
