Ingredients/Components
- salt
- flour - 3 Tbsp
- vinegar - 3 Tbsp
- hot water - 3 cubes,
- pepper - 1/4 tsp
- catsup - 1 Tbsp
- medium onions, diced - 3 item
- round steak - 2 3
- fat if necessary - 3 Tbsp
- cloves and thyme - 1/4 tsp
How to make savory beef:
Brown onions and meat, which has been cut in cubes in serving pieces. Mix dry ingredients; sprinkle over meat. Add bouillon, water, vinegar and catsup. Stir until well blended; cover. Simmer 1 1/2 hours until tender. (If you use canned meat it does not need to simmer as long.)Recipe categories: Main dish, Beef, Steak.
