- eggs - 6 item
- milk - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- dry mustard - 1 tsp
- grated Cheddar cheese - 2 c
- sausage
- slices bread, buttered on each side and cubed - 6 item
How to make sausage casserole:
Brown sausage and drain. Combine milk, eggs, salt and mustard. Put buttered bread into greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Crumble layers of sausage and cheese over bread; repeat layering. Pour milk mixture over all. Put in refrigerator overnight. Bake about 45 minutes at 375°. Bacon may be used; more eggs may be used.Recipe categories: Main dish, Casseroles, Pork.
