Ingredients/Components

  • rice uncooked - 1 c
  • Cheddar cheese, grated - 1 c
  • can cream of chicken soup - 1 item
  • bell pepper, chopped - 1 item
  • onion, chopped - 1 item
  • celery, chopped - 1 c
  • jar chopped pimento - 4 oz
  • hot sausage - 1 lb
  • can cream of mushroom soup - 1 item

How to make sausage casserole:

Brown sausage and drain. Mix all ingredients. Place in covered dish. Bake at 350° for 35 to 40 minutes.

Variation: You can use 2 cans of cream of mushroom soup instead of cream of chicken.
