Sauerkraut salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3/4 c
- vinegar - 3 Tbsp
- diced onion - 1/4 c
- diced green pepper - 1 c
- salt optional - 1/2 tsp
- diced celery - 1 c
- celery seed - 1 tsp
- diced pimentos - 3 Tbsp
- 2 1/2 sauerkraut - 1 can
How to make sauerkraut salad:
Drain sauerkraut in colander for 15 minutes. Cut into 1 inch pieces with scissors. Place in large mixing bowl; add remaining ingredients. Mix well. Store covered in refrigerator for at least 24 hours. Will keep 2 weeks in refrigerator.Recipe categories: < 15 mins, Salads, 3 steps or less.
