Sauerkraut salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar
- cold water - 1/3 c
- celery, cut fine - 1 c
- green pepper, slivered - 1 item
- bag sauerkraut
- oil Wesson - 1/2 c
- onion, slivered - 1 item
- wine vinegar or regular - 2/3 c
How to make sauerkraut salad:
Dressing:1 1/4 c. sugar1/2 c. oil (Wesson)2/3 c. wine vinegar or regular1/3 c. cold water Drain sauerkraut, but do not rinse. Use potato peeler to sliver green pepper and onion. Mix with kraut and celery.Mix dressing and pour over vegetables. Mix well and refrigerate overnight or longer. This will keep several weeks in refrigerator.
