  • eggs - 3 item
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • flour
  • brown sugar - 2 c
  • baking powder
  • chocolate chips - 2 c
  • nuts - 1 c
  • shortening, melted - 2/3 c

How to make saucepan cookies:

Pour melted shortening over brown sugar and add remaining ingredients. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes in a 17 x 12 x 2-inch pan. Let cool 10 minutes. Cut into squares and remove from pan when cold.
