Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- salt - 1 tsp
- water - 1/2 c
- vinegar - 1 c
- green peppers - 12 item
- onions - 3 item
- red peppers - 12 item
- green tomatoes - 12 item
- small jar mustard - 1 item
- flour level - 5 Tbsp
- Kraft mayonnaise - 1 qt
How to make sandwich spread:
Grind peppers, tomatoes and onions together. Pour boiling water over it for 5 minutes. Drain good. Add vinegar, sugar and salt. Cook 30 minutes. Mix flour and water, then add mustard while cooking. Take off stove. Add mayonnaise. Put in jars and seal. Makes 8 pints.Recipe categories: Appetizers, Sandwich, Spreads.
