Russian potato salad

Ingredients/Components

• shredded Swiss cheese - 1 item
• sugar to taste - 1 item
• diced beets - 3 c
• mayonnaise to taste - 1 item
• vinegar to taste - 1 item
• cold boiled potatoes, diced - 2 c
• cooked and finely diced ham - 1/2 c

How to make russian potato salad:

Mix beets and potatoes. Add mayonnaise, vinegar and sugar. Let stand a few hours. Just before serving, add the ham and cheese. Toss well and serve at once.
