Ingredients/Components

  • eggs - 4 item
  • butter - 1/4 c
  • water - 1/2 c
  • oil - 1/2 c
  • chopped walnuts - 1/2 c
  • rum - 1/2 c
  • yellow cake mix - 1 pkg
  • instant vanilla pudding - 1 pkg
  • Place nuts on the bottom of a greased 8 x 12-inch pan

How to make rum cake:

Mix all ingredients except nuts. Place nuts on the bottom of a greased 8 x 12-inch pan. Pour mixture over nuts. Bake 1 hour at 325°. Cool and remove from pan. Glaze.Glaze:1/4 c. sugar1/4 c. water1/4 c. butter1 oz. rum Boil all but rum. Remove from heat and add rum. Glaze cake.
