Ingredients/Components

  • cocoa - 2 Tbsp
  • powdered sugar - 1 c
  • rum - 1/4 c
  • white corn syrup
  • pecans, chopped - 1 c
  • vanilla wafer crumbs, crushed to a fine powder - 1 c
  • powdered sugar for rolling and to coat hands during the process - 1 item

How to make rum balls:

Mix rum and corn syrup, then combine with vanilla wafer crumbs, sugar, pecans and cocoa. Roll into balls the size of a walnut and roll each ball into powdered sugar to remove stickiness. Refrigerate on waxed paper or foil.

Rum Balls store well for weeks in the refrigerator in airtight containers. They freeze very well.
