  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • butter - 4 oz
  • cocoa - 2 Tbsp
  • confectioners sugar - 8 oz
  • shredded coconut - 2 Tbsp
  • sultanas or any other dried fruit - 1/2 c
  • rum, brandy or whiskey - 2 Tbsp

How to make rum balls:

Mix softened butter. Add sifted sugar, then all other ingredients and mix well. Put into refrigerator to harden a little. Roll into small balls and ice with chocolate icing or roll in chocolate sprinkles or coconut.
