- Mazola oil - 1 c
How to make roux:
Heat oil in heavy skillet over medium heat. Add flour in small amounts while stirring. Continue to stir until roux turns light brown. Lower heat. Continue to cook until roux looks like dark chocolate. Be careful not to burn.Recipe categories: Grains, Side dish, Stuffings Dressings.
