Ingredients/Components
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 item
- confectioners sugar - 1 lb
- almond extract - 1/2 tsp
- stick butter, melted - 1 item
- Ritz crackers - 1 item
- can Eagle Brand milk - 1 item
- pecans, chopped - 1 c
- box dates, chopped - 1 item
How to make ritz cracker cookies:
Put dates, Eagle Brand milk and nuts in double boiler and cook very thick. Spread on Ritz crackers on cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 5 or 6 minutes. When cool, frost.For frosting, mix confectioners sugar, butter, vanilla, almond extract and just enough milk to spreading consistency. Makes 50 to 60. Freezes well.
