Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/2 c
- butter - 2 Tbsp
- cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
- pinch of salt - 1 item
- egg - 1 item
- Karo white syrup - 3/4 c
- 9-inch pie crusts - 2 item
- cleaned rhubarb, cut in 1-inch strips - 3/4 lb
How to make rhubarb pie:
Place rhubarb in pie shell. Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt and egg; beat well. Add syrup and butter. Pour over rhubarb. Cut remaining pie crusts into strips and lattice. Bake at 450° for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and bake 30 minutes more.Recipe categories: Desserts, Pie, Pies and tarts.
