  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • butter - 2 Tbsp
  • cornstarch - 2 Tbsp
  • pinch of salt - 1 item
  • egg - 1 item
  • Karo white syrup - 3/4 c
  • 9-inch pie crusts - 2 item
  • cleaned rhubarb, cut in 1-inch strips - 3/4 lb

How to make rhubarb pie:

Place rhubarb in pie shell. Mix sugar, cornstarch, salt and egg; beat well. Add syrup and butter. Pour over rhubarb. Cut remaining pie crusts into strips and lattice. Bake at 450° for 15 minutes. Reduce heat to 350° and bake 30 minutes more.
