- cocoa - 1/4 c
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- baking soda - 1/4 tsp
- plain flour - 3 c
- Crisco - 1/2 c
- sweet milk - 1 c
- 1/2 bottles red food coloring - 2 item
How to make red velvet pound cake:
Preheat oven to 300°. Cream sugar, shortening and margarine. Add cocoa and eggs, one at a time, salt, vanilla, coloring, baking powder, flour and milk. Bake for 1 1/2 hours in tube pan.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Low sodium.
