- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- sticks margarine - 2 item
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- plain flour - 3 c
- pecans - 1 c
- almond flavoring - 1/4 tsp
- butternut flavoring - 1 tsp
How to make pecan pound cake:
Cream margarine, shortening and sugar until light and fluffy. Add eggs. Combine flour and baking powder. Add to creamed mixture alternately with milk and flavorings. Fold in pecans. Bake in greased 10-inch tube pan at 325° for 1 1/2 hours or until done.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Fruit.
