Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 c
- flour - 3 c
- evaporated milk - 1/4 c
- oil - 1 c
- soda - 1 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- light brown sugar - 1 c
- apples, chopped - 3 c
- Icing:1 stick butter
How to make raw apple cake:
Icing:1 stick butter1 c. light brown sugar1/4 c. evaporated milk1 tsp. vanilla Mix first five ingredients together in a bowl. Sift together the dry ingredients, then add to the other mixture. Stir. Add vanilla. Bake in tube pan or 2 loaf pans or oblong pan. Bake at 325° for 45 or 50 minutes.Icing: Cook butter and sugar over low heat until butter melts. Add milk. Let come to a boil and cook 1 minute. Add vanilla. Pour over hot cake.
