Raw apple cake
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- vanilla - 2 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 3 c
- brown sugar
- soda - 1 tsp
- eggs, beaten - 3 item
- cooking oil
- raisins optional - 1/2 c
- margarine - 1 2
- nuts, chopped - 1 c
- chopped cooking apples - 3 c
How to make raw apple cake:
Glaze:1/2 c. brown sugar1 to 2 Tbsp. margarine1 to 2 tsp. vanilla Sift dry ingredients together. Add apples and nuts. Combine remaining ingredients. Add to apple mixture. Mix by hand. Pour into a greased and floured Bundt pan. Bake in preheated 350° oven for 1 hour.This is extra good and moist cake. Can be frozen for later use.
Glaze: Mix margarine, vanilla and brown sugar. Cook until syrupy. Pour on cake.
