  • sugar - 1/2 c
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • milk - 2 Tbsp
  • salt - 1/2 tsp
  • chopped nuts - 1/2 c
  • flour - 2 c
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
  • eggs, beaten - 2 item
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • raisins - 1 c
  • margarine - 3/4 c
  • oatmeal
  • cloves - 1/4 tsp

How to make oatmeal hermits:

Cream margarine. Mix in sugars. Add eggs, milk and vanilla. Sift together flour, soda, salt and spices; add. Stir in oatmeal, raisins and nuts. Drop by spoon on ungreased cookie tins. Cook 10 minutes at 375°.
