Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1/4 c
- water - 2 tsp
- paprika - 1/4 tsp
- Worcestershire sauce - 1/4 tsp
- white wine vinegar - 1/4 c
- bean sprouts - 1/4 lb
- poppy seeds - 1 Tbsp
- small red onion, thinly sliced - 1 item
- fresh raspberries - 1 qt
- Topping:1/2 c
- mild vegetable oil - 1/2 c
- Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar melts to a golden brown and coats almonds about 5 minutes
How to make raspberry spinach salad:
Combine all ingredients and shake well before using.Topping:1/2 c. slivered almonds1/4 c. sugar2 tsp. water Combine all ingredients in a large fry pan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until sugar melts to a golden brown and coats almonds (about 5 minutes). Turn out into waxed paper. Cool. Break up into small pieces.Salad:1 lb. fresh spinach1 qt. fresh raspberries1/4 lb. bean sprouts1 small red onion, thinly sliced Wash and dry spinach.
