Ingredients/Components
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- flour - 4 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- cold water - 2 c
- soda - 2 tsp
- baking powder - 1 tsp
- Crisco - 1 c
- cloves - 1/2 tsp
- seedless raisins - 2 c
- light brown sugar, firmly packed - 2 c
How to make raisin cake:
Cook first 8 ingredients together for about 3 minutes. Let cool. Add soda dissolved in 2 tablespoons of warm water. Stir in flour and baking powder. Bake in greased and floured Bundt pan at 350° to 375° for 1 hour or until done. Remove from Bundt pan to cool.Recipe categories: Desserts, Cakes, Fruit.
