Quick coffee cake

Ingredients/Components

• fat - 2 Tbsp
• self-rising flour - 2 c
• egg - 1 item
• sugar - 3 Tbsp
• milk - 3/4 c
• cinnamon - 1/3 tsp
• chopped nuts optional - 1 item

How to make quick coffee cake:

Prepare topping by mixing fat, flour, cinnamon, sugar and nuts. Next, mix fat and flour. Beat together egg, sugar and milk. Combine with flour by stirring until smooth for about 1/2 minute. Then beat vigorously for 1/2 minute. Spread in a lightly greased 8 x 8-inch deep cake pan. Finally, sprinkle topping mixture on batter. Bake in hot oven at 400° for 22 minutes.
