- cinnamon - 1 tsp
- pkg - 1 oz
- packed brown sugar - 3/4 c
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- nutmeg - 1/4 tsp
- all-purpose flour - 2 Tbsp
- large eggs - 3 item
- ginger - 1 tsp
- chopped walnuts - 3/4 c
- can evaporated milk - 1 oz
- 9-inch unbaked pie crust - 1 item
- can solid packed pumpkin - 1 oz
- Nut Crunch Topping recipe follows - 1 item
- In large bowl with mixer at medium speed, beat first seven ingredients until blended
How to make pumpkin cheese pie:
Preheat oven to 375°. In large bowl with mixer at medium speed, beat first seven ingredients until blended. Add pumpkin, undiluted milk and eggs; beat until blended. Pour into pie crust. Bake 30 minutes. Prepare Nut Crunch Topping and spoon over pie. Bake 15 minutes longer or until knife inserted comes out clean. Cool pie on wire rack about 1 1/2 hours.Nut Crunch Topping:2 Tbsp. margarine/butter3/4 c. chopped walnuts1/3 c. packed brown sugar In saucepan over low heat, melt margarine/butter.
