Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- milk - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- chopped nuts - 1 pkg
- flour - 2 c
- oil - 1 c
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- baking soda - 1 tsp
- stick butter - 3/4 item
- powdered sugar
- can pumpkin - 1 item
- Add sugar and mix well
How to make pumpkin bars:
Sift flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon in a bowl together. Add sugar and mix well. Add oil, eggs, and pumpkin and mix well. Pour into 2 greased and floured 9x13 inch baking pans. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.Cream Cheese Frosting:1 3 oz pkg. cream cheese; softened3/4 stick butter1 tsp. milk1 tsp. vanilla1 3/4 c. powdered sugar1 pkg. chopped nuts Blend cream cheese with butter. Add milk, vanilla, and powdered sugar. Whip with mixer on high. Lets bars cool, then frost and cut into bars.Optional: May add 1 cup chopped nuts to cake batter or place nuts on top of each bar.
