Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 2 c
- cinnamon - 2 tsp
- eggs - 4 item
- vanilla - 1 tsp
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- flour - 2 c
- nutmeg - 1/2 tsp
- soda - 1 tsp
- baking powder - 2 tsp
- stick butter - 3/4 item
- powdered sugar - 4 c
- ginger - 1/2 tsp
- cloves - 1/2 tsp
- salad oil - 1 c
- cream or milk - 1 Tbsp
- mashed pumpkin - 2 c
- Mix all ingredients well
How to make pumpkin bars:
Mix the first 4 ingredients together in a large bowl. Mix all ingredients well. Pour into greased and floured 12 x 18 x 1-inch pan. Bake at 350° for 25 to 30 minutes.Frosting:1 (16 oz.) pkg. cream cheese3/4 stick butter1 Tbsp. cream or milk1 tsp. vanilla4 c. powdered sugar Beat the cream cheese, butter, vanilla and cream together until soft. Add powdered sugar until correct consistency to spread. Cut into 2 x 3-inch bars. Makes 36 bars.Note: Pumpkin Bars freeze well.
