  • sugar - 3 Tbsp
  • cream cheese - 8 oz
  • pkg - 6 oz
  • melted margarine - 3/4 c
  • Cool Whip - 2 c
  • crushed pretzels - 2 c

How to make pretzel salad:

Mix pretzels, margarine and sugar. Press into 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 400° for 8 minutes. Mix cream cheese and one cup sugar together. Fold Cool Whip into cheese mixture. Spread over cooled pretzels. Prepare strawberry jello with 2 cups boiling water. Add strawberries. Chill until syrupy. Pour over cheese layer and refrigerate.
