  • sugar - 3/4 c
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • flour - 1 Tbsp
  • baking powder - 1 tsp
  • egg - 1 item
  • stick butter - 1 item
  • oatmeal
  • pecans, chopped - 1/2 c

How to make lace cookies:

Melt butter over oatmeal. Sift dry ingredients together; mix with oatmeal. Beat eggs and add vanilla. Mix with oatmeal. Add nuts. Cover cookie sheets with foil; drop by teaspoons and bake 11 minutes at 325°. Let cool before removing from foil. A thin, crispy cookie.
