Pretzel salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 3 Tbsp
- cream cheese
- pkg
- melted margarine - 3/4 c
- hot water
- carton Cool Whip - 1 oz
- crushed twisted pretzels - 2 c
How to make pretzel salad:
2nd Layer:8 oz. cream cheese1 c. sugar1 (8 oz.) carton Cool Whip 3rd Layer:1 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries in juice, thawed6 oz. pkg. strawberry jello2 1/2 c. hot water 1st Layer: Spread mixed ingredients in 8 x 13-inch pan. Bake 8 minutes in 400° oven. Cool.2nd Layer: Mix cream cheese and thawed Cool Whip in mixer. Spread over cooled pretzel layer.
3rd Layer: Cut strawberries into small pieces. Mix jello and hot water. Cool until slightly thickened. Add strawberries. Pour over second layer. Refrigerate at least 12 hours.
