Cream wafers



  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • confectioners sugar - 3/4 c
  • softened butter - 1 c
  • egg yolk - 1 item
  • cream heavy - 1/3 c
  • Filling:1/4 c
  • flour any kind - 2 c

How to make cream wafers:

Mix all together until smooth and chill overnight.Filling:1/4 c. butter3/4 c. confectioners sugar1 egg yolk1 tsp. vanilla Mix together until creamy. Make when ready to frost cookies.

After dough has chilled overnight, roll out to 1/8-inch thick and cut into 1/2 dollar size circles. Place on cookie sheet. Prick with a fork 3 to 4 times and spread with granular. Bake 7 to 9 minutes at 375°. Let cool and spread filling between 2 cookies (sugar side out). Keep frozen or refrigerated until ready for eating.
