Pretzel salad
Ingredients/Components
- sugar - 1 c
- cream cheese - 8 oz
- pkg - 2 oz
- butter - 3/4 c
- boiling water - 2 c
- nuts - 1/2 c
- small carton Cool Whip - 1 item
- large box strawberry Jell-O - 1 item
- crushed pretzels - 2 c
How to make pretzel salad:
First Layer: Mix pretzels, nuts, butter and 3 teaspoons sugar. Put in 9 x 13-inch pan and bake at 400° for 5 minutes. Let cool.Second Layer: Mix sugar, cream cheese and Cool Whip. Place on top of first layer.
Third Layer: Mix Jell-O, boiling water and strawberries. Place on top of second layer and refrigerate until jelled.
