Ingredients/Components

  • sugar
  • eggs - 3 item
  • vanilla - 1/2 tsp
  • salt - 1/4 tsp
  • baking soda - 1/2 tsp
  • sifted flour
  • margarine - 2/3 c
  • coarsely broken pecan meats - 2 c

How to make praline cookies:

Cream sugar and margarine well. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Sift together flour, soda and salt; add to first mixture. Add pecans and mix well. Drop in scant spoonfuls on greased baking sheets. Bake in moderately hot oven (375°) for about 10 minutes. Remove from baking sheet immediately. Makes about 8 dozen.
