- sugar - 3 c
- eggs - 5 item
- vanilla - 1/2 tsp
- milk - 1 c
- flour - 3 c
- baking powder - 1/2 tsp
- shortening - 1/2 c
- lemon extract - 1/2 tsp
- sticks butter, softened - 2 item
How to make pound cake:
Cream sugar, butter and shortening together; add eggs, one at a time, until blended. Add vanilla and lemon extracts; blend. Add milk and flour alternately until blended.
