Potatoes romanoff
Ingredients/Components
- sour cream - 1 c
- salt - 2 tsp
- paprika - 1 item
- shredded cheese - 1/2 c
- creamed cottage cheese - 2 c
- finely chopped green onions - 1/4 c
- diced, cooked potatoes - 5 c
- small clove garlic optional - 1 item
How to make potatoes romanoff:
Use 1/2 teaspoon of the salt in potatoes. Drain cooked potatoes and dice them. Combine cottage cheese, sour cream, onion, garlic and remaining salt. Fold into cooked potato cubes. Spread into a buttered 1 1/2-quart casserole dish. Top with shredded cheese, sprinkle lightly with paprika. Bake at 350° for 30 to 35 minutes. Yield: 6 servings.
