  • sugar - 1 c
  • eggs - 2 item
  • vanilla - 1 tsp
  • brown sugar - 1 c
  • soda - 2 tsp
  • shortening Crisco - 1 c
  • flour self-rising
  • crushed potato chips - 2 c

How to make potato chip cookies:

Cream sugar and shortening; add eggs. Beat well. Add flour, soda and vanilla. Stir in potato chips. May add nuts, coconut or chocolate chips now. Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350° until lightly browned. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Yield: 5 dozen.
