Potato cheese soup
Ingredients/Components
- butter or margarine - 2 Tbsp
- Velveeta cheese - 2/3 c
- salt and pepper to taste - 1 item
- small onion, diced - 1 item
- whole milk - 4 c
- very large potatoes, diced - 2 item
How to make potato cheese soup:
Cook potato and onion until very tender in the smallest amount of water possible. Watch closely. Do not let it burn. Cut Velveeta cheese into small pieces and add along with milk. Add to potato and onion. Simmer for 5 minutes, but do not boil. Salt and pepper to taste. Makes 4 servings.Recipe categories: Lunch/snacks, Soups & stews, Main dish.
